Int'l airlines present Iran films for inflight entertainment

International airlines offer Iranian movies for inflight entertainment, Soureh Cinema Int'l says.

According to the director of the Soureh Cinema International, which is affiliated with the Sourah Cinema Organization in Iran, some international airlines have included Iranian films such as "Main Idea" directed by Azita Moguie as part of their inflight entertainment offerings.

Elahe Tahaee said to the local media that Turkish and Emirates airlines are among such airlines, adding that the Iranian animation 'Loupetoo' by Abbas Askar will be featured on the playlist of inflight entertainment for these airlines as well. 

She noted that airlines from Muslim countries have their own set of guidelines when it comes to selecting films.  

The compatibility of Iranian movies with these criteria has the potential to open up a profitable market for Iranian directors, as they could now present their films to airlines for inclusion in their inflight entertainment, subsequent to both public and online screenings in Iran.
